[LMNA] Fwd: Resident Passes for Football Games - HELP

I cannot even begin to tell y'all how stinking mad the Athletics Dept.
makes me.

Andrew and I have lived in the football zone for years now... and they've
never been able to make this process work... we NEVER got our passes
delivered, despite repeatedly telling them to add us to the list. A couple
years we went over to U-Hall (it's by JPJ, it's the old arena) and picked
them up, one or two years we went without, since in the end, it didn't
really impact us.

Now that we are on Alderman, I figured we'd be trapped without permits, so
last week I dropped by the U-Hall office to get one. Let me tell you a
little tidbit... the reason no one was warned about this 'new procedure' is
that LAST WEEK, THIS PROCEDURE DIDN'T EXIST. I was simply told that the
office was "still working on it" and that I'd "hear from them soon". It
didn't seem to faze them at all when I said "how am I going to hear from
you, when you don't know who I am or how to reach me?" Kafka-esque...

So now, this is their plan? Have everyone in the affected area (lucky
enough to hear about it) go to a website, fill in a form, and then go pick
up a permit in the FOUR BUSINESS DAYS remaining before the first home game?
(Oh, and don't try dropping by without first going to the website, because
they won't give you a permit or let you fill in a form there--Andrew was
just there, and that was what he was told.)

I have known for a long time that UVA treats its neighbors like crap, but
you'd think with the kind of millions of dollars that pass through that
office, they'd be able to put together a decent system GIVEN THAT THEY HAD
A YEAR to do so...
