A private contractor working on a hotel project will close West Main Street
to vehicles between Jefferson Park Avenue and 10th Street NW from 6 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 4, through midnight Sunday, Aug. 6. The road will remain open
to pedestrians. The road closure is required to remove one crane and
install another crane for a hotel project along West Main Street.



Patients and visitors are asked to use Jefferson Park Avenue or Roosevelt
Brown Boulevard to access the Lee Street Garage as well as to exit from the
Medical Center.



Detour signs will be posted, and construction personnel will be on hand to
direct traffic on Lee Street. Please allow extra time when arriving and
departing from the Medical Center during this time.
