The OCDC Executive Committee had its first virtual meeting this afternoon, and successfully dealt with a number of items. Minutes will be sent out in the next couple of days.

On the agenda were: a video conferencing system - We are looking at Zoom, which would allow us to have a full virtual meeting; reorganizing our email system; reinvigorating our FB page and encouraging our members to post and comment on it; starting precinct level activity such as phone canvassing.

The most important item was that the board unanimously approved a resolution to ask members for a voluntary dues contribution of $10 per month, with a provision for paying by the month, quarter or year. Given that we can't pass the hat, and that we still have expenses (more because of the need to communicate on line), we need to keep it coming in. We will be making the contribute button on the website operable, and will be setting up a formal budget so all expenses are accounted for. This will take a few days. If you would like to make a contribution now, you can send a check to me at 23199 Monrovia Rd., Orange VA 22960. Again, this is voluntary, and does not affect your membership in OCDC.

Finally, if we order some printed material, what would you like soonest - bumper stickers, buttons, round stickers, pens, etc. Rgds. Terry Anderson, Chair
